The Journey Behind Each Painting

Observation

I find inspiration in everyday moments that often go unnoticed, like a stranger’s warm smile, a soft shadow across a room, or the comfort of a hug. Painting is a way for me to capture those subtle bits of magic.

Creation

Once an idea takes root, I bring it to life layer by layer. I rarely start with a final picture in mind. Instead, I let the process unfold organically. It is a dance of trust and play until the piece feels complete.

Connection

When a painting is finished, it can become part of someone else’s story too. Inspired by our shared humanity, each piece is created to celebrate the moments that shape who we are.

Artist statement

I have a longing for a world where love and vulnerability can exist openly, without hesitation. That desire is at the heart of my work. It’s why I’m drawn to colour, texture and layers as a way of expressing emotion.

My paintings are rarely about the specific subjects within them. They’re almost always about the tension, passion, sensuality, energy, and feelings they evoke. I’m interested in what happens beneath the surface and the feelings that can be difficult to put into words.

With each piece, I hope to create a moment of recognition, something that reminds us that even our most personal feelings are often shared. And if we can recognize ourselves in one another, maybe we don’t have to be afraid of feeling after all.
